The Soban have a couple *minor* tweaks in their research tree, and replaces the carrier's healing ability with an 'armed logistics modules' ability where the fleet capacity thingies can stun enemy ships temporarily. I don't see that these provide major new tactical options-- especially since the multiplayer lounge is still mostly dead and most of my own play is vs an AI that's not too clever! Not worth it at full price, imo.. Adds nothing of value to the game. I like to use the soban more than the coalition, their ultimate weapon does DoT damage and their guns are replaced with rail cannons.. Targeted Microwave - That's got to be worth it just for that!But in all seriousness, it is more than just a few new units, it is more about the tech capabilities the Soban fleet brings to the table.. get this cause soban has op armed logistics modules. Great DLC. Soban is a very unique faction, and my personal favorite from the lore. Their units look and sound awesome, and offer a more tech focused playstyle over the Coalition. All for less than the cost of a sandwich. If you play this game, its a must buy.. Love the new faction, plays a bit different, worth the 7$.. A fleet for the price of a single league of legends character, come with its own unique units variations and their own skins. Completely worth it.. A very enjoyable twist on the Coalition.Allows a much more defensive playstyle, with an emphasis on powerful ranged units.. A refreshing variant fleet. The railgun focus makes for an interesting angle from traditional Coalition.
